Health coaching is right for anyone currently being treated for a chronic condition, who needs help following their doctor’s advice, who wants to lose weight, who wants more energy or to sleep better. Heath coaching works for people who need to adhere to specific eating habits, those dealing with a stressful person or life event, or someone planning to get pregnant. Health coaching is right for anyone who wants to make lasting changes to improve their health and elevate their life.

Sessions can be done either in person, with a video call, or over the phone. The initial meeting will be the Foundation session and lasts an hour. During this session, I can get to know you and learn about your personal goals. I will work with you on implementing changes that are small or big in ways that suit your lifestyle and comfort level. During follow up sessions, we will evaluate what is and isn’t working and then figure out next steps. These meeting are 45 minutes in length.
That’s really up to you. At first, many clients choose to meet weekly or biweekly.
Each time we meet you will decide the focus of our session. Common topics include adhering to a specific diet, reducing inflammation, understanding and following your doctor’s orders, developing or sticking with an exercise plan, tools for stress reduction, learning how to meditate, and successfully completing a fast.
I make myself available to clients between appointments for any questions that may arise.
I graduated from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, Inc, a collaboration with the Institute for Functional Medicine which sets the global standard in Functional Medicine education and training. I studied the basic principles of Functional Medicine, meditation, stress relaxation, psychology of change, and nutrition. I also hold a certification in personal training from ACE Fitness, accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, the gold standard in health and fitness, where I studied anatomy, foundation of movement, and exercise principles.

I can speak with your doctor, dietician, or other practitioner, and show you how to follow their recommendations while coaching you through the process to make it as simple as possible.
